Project Goal

This project aims to use the Oracle Kubernetes Operator and other Cloud Native Computing Foundations tools to modernise the Oracle Database and Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) services. The Oracle Operator will help to automate database provisioning, configuration, and management, simplifying operations with simple Kubernetes resources. It also aims to facilitate the adoption of GitOps techniques for the ORDS infrastructure (already hosted on Kubernetes). Additionally, the Oracle Operator will complement tools like Crossplane, supporting the implementation of Infrastructure as Code for infrastructure management.
